After weeks of disappointment, waiting for the boat to go down to Cape Town and still as of writing now, no further news, a break through arrived. I was contacted by Hienz Lehner who has built interiors of yachts and even an airplane interior. Hienz is keen to get started and will live in Deneysville while re-fitting Deusa. This means I'm back to work on her each weekend! While I'm not really looking forward to working seven days a week again, it will only be for November. At the end of November I finish work at Parrot Products and so then could change to working during the week.
I was getting very frustrated with nothing happening on the boat while time marched on. I was also starting to feel a bit desperate and wished that I had continued my weekends of work on her. So this news is a real relief for me. Hienz will start in about two weeks time. So next weekend I'll have to empty the boat of all her spars which were put inside for transport to the Cape.
And hopefully this will be the beginning of frequent updates and progress pics!
